Kerry - Canine Massage Therapy

Kerry operates her business, Holistic Small Animal Health, primarily as a mobile service offering massage, Bowen Therapy and nutrition advice.

Kerry has a Certificate in Canine Myofunctional Therapy and a Certificate in Small Animal Nutrition from the National College of Traditional Medicine (NCTM). She currently teaches both of these courses for the College. She has studied the Small Animal Essentials of Bowen Therapy, and is currently studying the Diploma of Canine Rehabilitation and Wellbeing Recovery; and the Practising Certificate in Herbal Medicine for Companion Pets.

Kerry first became interested in learning about natural health for animals when one of her dogs – Chloe – was diagnosed with hip damage at around 8 months of age, and underwent surgery a few years later. Not wanting to rely on drugs to manage Chloe’s pain for the rest of her life, she tried to find a natural therapist who could help. When this was unsuccessful, she decided to learn how to do it herself. (Chloe is now 13 years old and still going strong.)
